After wrapping up the meeting yesterday, I visited the laboratory of Professor Jan de Vries at the University of Göttingen. I was strongly struck by the fact that the professor's character, the excellent research facilities, and the wonderful lab members all underpin such remarkable research. It looks like three graduate students from Jan’s lab will be coming for a short-term visit next spring.
