Prof. Sekimoto participated in the EMBO workshop "Plant evolution: from origins to diversification on land" held in Vienna from November 25th to 27th, and gave a presentation titled "The RWP-RK genes are required for progression of the mating process in the unicellular Zygnematophycean alga, Closterium peracerosum–strigosum–littorale complex."
