Introduction
Advances in Mathematical Sciences and Applications
Aims and Scope
The Advances in Mathematical Sciences and Applications (AMSA) is an international journal focused on research activities of mathematical analysis and its applications to natural and social sciences as well as engineering. This journal is issued by GAKKO TOSHO Co., Ltd. in Japan. The objective of the journal is to publish research papers devoted to significant mathematical results and/or expository papers providing fresh ideas and topics to specialists in the relevant scientific fields. In this light, the authors are encouraged to indicate the connection between their studies and the research subjects focused in AMSA, and the papers emphasizing applications to concrete phenomena should contain valid mathematical models and important problems arising from real world. In particular, the editorial board will welcome creative papers which propose to integrate or interrelate theories, methods, and applications within the scope of AMSA.
Publication Ethics
These guidelines outline the publishing ethics responsibilities of the editorial office of AMSA, authors, peer reviewers and editors.
- (Confidentiality) The editorial office will maintain complete confidentiality concerning on articles and their authors submitted to the journal.
- (Policy for Scientific Misconduct) The journal will not accept articles with misconduct(s), such as fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, and so on. In particular, the authors must not submit any paper which has been published or are being considered for publication by another journal.
- (Allegations of Research Misconducts) For allegations of research misconducts, the editorial office takes reasonable steps on the basis of the guideline of MEXT (https://www.mext.go.jp/), ORI (https://ori.hhs.gov), and shall identify and prevent the publication of papers. Editors likely reject to a paper if they decide the responses of author(s) would not be satisfactory to clear suspicion of research misconduct.
- (Errata by the Editors) The editors publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies when needed.
- (Errata by Authors) In case an author wishes to withdraw or revise the articles, contact the editorial staff, first. Then, after checking comments on withdrawal or erratum, it will be issued from the journal, rapidly. The editors will maintain complete confidentiality concerning on articles and their authors submitted to the journal. The journal will not accept articles which have been published or are being considered for publication by another journal. Papers being considered here should not be submitted to other journals.
Peer Review Statement Regarding the Review Process
The papers submitted to the journal will be carefully reviewed by some specialists in the same field, and the final decision of acceptance for publication will be made, based on assessment for the academic value of the article by the peer-reviewers. The editors may consult other experts in the field, maintaining full confidentiality, if necessary.
Authors and Authors Responsibilities
- Any fees and charges are not required for publication from the journal. Also, a pdf file of the manuscript is provided without any fees and charges.
- Papers containing original ideas that have not been published before are allowed for publication.
- The author guarantees that a submitting paper is not under consideration in other journals.
- There is no limit of the number of pages.
- The paper must include the following data:
- The family name, given name, and optionally middle name
- The affiliation
- The contact information (mailing address and e-mail)
- The title
- The abstract
- Keywords. Each keyword or phrase should be separated by a comma.
- MSC2020 codes
- The list of references. The authors are not allowed borrowing without reference to the original source.
License Agreement
- At the end of the editorial work the author must confirm that the right to publish it is transferred to the publisher Gakkotosho Co. Ltd. and the authors agree not to publish it elsewhere.
- Redistribution of article is not allowed without permission from AMSA in five years after its publication. We note that we allow to use the article as a part of the author’s thesis.
Publishing Schedule and Archives
In principle, this journal is issued in once a year in November. From October 2021 onward, AMSA will open the archives on the Internet, from five years after articles, and this open access policy will be applied for articles published on or after Vol. 25 (2016). Titles of all articles published form this journal are listed at “Current Issues” in this cite.
